The Allegro MicroSystems ACS712ELCTR-30A-T is a Hall-effect current transducer for measuring ac and dc currents. This transducer is designed for contactless, non-intrusive current sensing of up to 30A. This device is based on a Hall-effect principle with a magnetic concentrator and an integrated Hall-effect sensor. It provides a linear output proportional to the sensed current. The device also has low power consumption, low temperature coefficient, and wide operating temperature range.
