The 6N137-500E is a high-speed optically coupled isolator
consisting of an infrared light-emitting diode and a NPN silicon
phototransistor. It is designed to provide a high degree of
electrical isolation between input and output circuits. The
6N137-500E is ideal for use in applications that require electrical
isolation to protect sensitive circuitry from high voltages.
