The ATMEGA8A-PU is a low-power 8-bit microcontroller based on the
AVR RISC architecture. It features 8KB of In-System Programmable
Flash memory, 1KB EEPROM, and 2KB SRAM. It also features 32
flexible I/O lines, four 8-bit Timer/Counters with separate
prescaler, a USART, and a programmable watchdog timer with internal
oscillator. The ATMEGA8A-PU is suitable for a wide range of
applications such as automotive, consumer, industrial, and office
automation.
