from Altera. This chip is based on the 65nm low-power,
high-performance process technology. Its features include 4 million
system gates, 2.5Mbits of embedded memory, 150Kb of embedded RAM,
and up to 874 user I/O pins. It also has capabilities to support up
to 8 power rails and a wide variety of I/O standards including
LVDS, PCIe, SRIO, and USB. It utilizes a low-power, cost-effective
design methodology to reduce system cost and power consumption.
